
What To Do If You Cannot Appear in Court
REMEMBER, FAILURE TO APPEAR IN COURT CAN LEAD TO YOUR ARREST AND INCARCERATION
If you cannot appear in Municipal Court, do as many of the following as soon as you can:

Please remember that whether a warrant has been issued for your arrest due to your failure to appear, whether you are granted a continuance, or whether some other action is taken because you failed to appear is up to the JUDGE with whom you were scheduled to appear. In some cases, failure to appear may result in a person being prohibited from getting a driver’s license, license plates or transferring a vehicle.
